Blabonyms® - Board Game

BLABONYMS® is a fast-paced mix of deduction and recall. Clues are given "in other words" which are paraphrased versions of the answers. Players already "know" most of these answers. Any unknown can often be "worked out." Figuring them out from the clues will challenge your mental agility.

Clues are straightforward, relying on one-for-one synonym substitutions. Some are metaphorical, employ puns, use alliteration, or lend themselves to some other type of association. Each is intended to entertain you -- and help you recollect a piece of Americana.

The game can be played on the cloth board or with the deck of cards only. There are many great play features. Anybody can play and everybody has fun. It's a fantastic party game; great for any sized gathering!
